Day 1
Your guide will meet you at your accommodation in Moshi town to begin the afternoon adventure. Enjoy a short, scenic drive to Materuni Village.
Arrival at Materuni Village
Register with the village office, meet your local guide, and get a quick briefing on the hike and safety.
Guided Hike to Materuni Waterfalls
Walk for about 45 minutes through lush banana and coffee plantations, crossing streams and enjoying panoramic views.
Swimming at the Waterfalls
Arrive at the stunning 70–90m cascade. Spend 30 minutes swimming in the cool glacial pool or relaxing at the base.
Enjoy local cuisine lunch
Enjoy a local delicious meal as you get a chance to relax and re-energize for the day.
Return Hike to Materuni Village
Leisurely walk back to the village, arriving around 5:00 PM.
Interactive Coffee Tour & Tasting
Participate in the full Chagga coffee experience – picking, roasting, grinding, and brewing your own coffee. Join in with local singing and dancing during the roasting process.
Departure from Materuni
Bid farewell to your hosts and enjoy a scenic drive back.
